Photo Tour: Atlanta Creatives at Art Department Gallery

Scenes from Friday's Art Department opening at Studioplex Lofts. Art by Neda Abghari of Atlanta Creatives Project. All event photos by Sandy Hooper.
The Atlanta Creatives Project is a portrait series by photographer Neda Abghari who for years has attempted to capture the “inspired individuals who enrich our experiences and everyday lives within the city.” The smash opening at Art Department Gallery last Friday debuted only a portion of the series, bringing into focus a “who’s who” lineup of Atlanta DJs, hip-hop producers, and electronic musicians including Dres the Beatnik, Le Castle Vania, and Vicki Powell. In case you missed it, photographer Sandy Hooper arrived with a camera in hand to capture the excitement for the folks at home.
